A mother’s love knows no bounds. She will take care of her young ones even at the risk of her own life. Here the mother rat was caught in a rat trap. She was searching for food to feed her new born young ones. Fortunately the man who caught her had let the mother go. Though she had to cross a dangerous track, she didn't hesitate and somehow returned to her children. An inspiring story!

It is amazing to watch videos of wild animals on various nature sites on television- we get to see the most horrendous of animals [crocodile, for instance] tenderly and gently tending to her babies and they stay with her upwards of two years... and she doesn't eat them! ! ! ! Enjoyed your poem of a rat's tale ;)
