Beauty and grace in metered verse! Very lovingly crafted. Thanks for sharing, and thank you for reading my poem All That Shatters is Not Glass. My most recent poem, My Mother's Mirror, was inspired by my Mom, who passed away in late 2013. It has taken me this long to be able to write something related to her.

A woman's heart is like the sea...deep and mysterious. Why wouldn't our mothers be the same...I can honestly say I've never discussed anything like this with my own mother. Very nice and almost guilt-tripping for me.

Lovely poem focusing on the common issues we face in life- in hopes of finding solid counsel and advice in learning to dealing with them.

That's so beautiful, Adeline. Some things we ask our mothers and some they volunteer but so many others we long to know about, don't we? You did a wonderful job and I enjoyed it so much.

The first and the last lines complete the summary of a mother n a daughter's lives in a shared experience of the pangs of motherhood, in terms ofall care n all dread...n in the end...unmourned, unnoticed......a v v natural sharing....
