Motheless Child Poem by Chukwuebuka Adebayo

Motheless Child

Weeds on the hills,
Birds are getting colder
And failing off from trees
Mother gone down the stream,
Causing his eyes to rush waters
Girls at home never makes milk.

Puppies in the woods,
Ankle-bitters getting bruised;
Memorials on sleeping tombs,
And heats from barren wombs,
Please allow him to stay for while
Out in the rain, naked in your room.

Smiles in the orphanage,
Pick them up from the floor;
He need someone's else love
And a stranger to know her
I promise they wont stay long,
For their days are too short.

Good poem. I reckon if the grammar is ironed out it would rock more and more
