Mostly They Pray God Comments

Amitava, this rings true, especially nowadays where everybody wants material things or money. When they pray, you're right, they don't pray for anyone else only to get what they want, selfishly. Can vividly see why you wouldn't want to pray after seeing all that vain jealousy, hatred and greed. It makes you want to turn your head and walk away from it all. Mankind needs all the prayer it can get today. Thank you, Amitava. Another difficult subject brought to it's knees with simplicity. You are indeed a great writer of honesty and truth. Very truly said......mostly people pray for their own well being lacking in gratitude and devotion and mostly cling to selfish motives forgetting universal welfare through sacred prayer..........very well composed

Beautiful write Sir. You just said what I wanted to tell. Why not people allow others to live? They wanted to live happily by crushing others, by killing others will power itself. I used to go to temple regularly, as I used to feel good. But today, I stopped praying, nor going to temple. I feel what's the use, when the world is ruled by such people. I loved reading it. I can feel all the lines, as I have experienced this very well. Thanks for sharing with us.
