Dear poet, every work of art, in some way, is political by definition. This poem is no exception. I love the way you have expressed it.

Yes, mosquitoes make people's sleep sour! Their music is so jarring to the ears. They are to be kept at bay as they are the carriers of dangerous diseases! This poem I am visiting once again!

A well explained poem on what mosquitoes can do to us, Jesus! Their needles hurt! Many species are vanished. And this harmful insect can go also. I think the non-active W.H.O can find a remedy for us. Good poem. Thanks for sharing and congrats! +10

A great reminder for the warmer months are on the way in Australia. They are unpleasant indeed. Fortunately the repellents are great. Thank You

Mosquitoes in the air Glide in the dark of night; They bring noise to the ears, Inviting for a fight. Mosquitoes in the air Make someone's slumber sour; The sweet sleep is broken, Because of their buzzer.____A wonderful poem- - Congratulations for being selected Poem of the Day!

Heartiest Congratulations Bernard for the Poem of the day. A great selection by the Poem Hunter. The tiniest creatures of this earth too deserve a place. Mosquitoes feed on human blood. That is their food. But harmful to man specially when they spread a disease. I loved the last verse..... clap hands to shoo away or erase mosquitoes.....10

What a beautiful poem about mosquitoes, what they can do and what not and how one can protect himself from diseases spread by this little devil. This repeat visit too is quite rewarding. Thanks.

A brilliant on mosquitoes. They have become a nuisance to human beings. Any time of the day they can attack us sucking our blood and injecting viral parasites. Beware mosquitoes, destroy them and be safe. Your message is precious. Thanks and congratulations...10

Thanks for the warnings in pure poetic form! Such vile creatures do not deserve such distinction! And for such a kind and good hearted poet, to speak about them, at all, Congratulations non-the-less for having it chosen twice as Poem of the Day!
