Mortal Devotion Comments

I'll start by praying I may live long enough to finish this comment. I have always wanted to be older. My first big goal was fifteen and a half; learners permit to drive my grandparents big white Buick Special with the portholes. Next sixteen; to drive on my own. Then twenty-one; legal age for everything back then. Then I was in no rush. It's different now as I edge close to sixty. I can fully appreciate your poem. I want to be older; one day at a time. I know the alternative of not getting older; not being able to finish at lot; Amen. Tom
