This is a beautiful poem Susan. The words are soothing and euphonic and rightly bring images of calm and beauty and peace. I too love these kinds of mornings...look forward to them. Instead of Earl Grey, I prefer a stiff black coffee softened with cream. Very well written. I like your word choices and the rhythm of your writing. Counting minutes of calm is a great line. It sounds nice, but it directs the reader to realize that this is an ephemeral moment. And lounging with a Lazy swallow...that sounds like a dream! Thanks so much for your poem. PEACE.
