Upon arising I fervently pray
Blessings on you God would rain
God send angels your way
Protect you from unwelcome strain

May Our Lord throw light before you
To guard and guide every step you take
May this new day, bring joys, fresh and new
See your heart light up, like candles on a cake

May you rejoice, be glad today before you
That you walk by peaceful cool waters
Dance with joy, being freshly renewed
God shepherd you through all matters

I pray, your loved ones become close to you
May they look up to you as a friend, a mentor
Lord, prosper their careers and all they do
They be safe, your love they come to know

Thank you Lord, for true friend you sent
Thank you Lord, make me true best friend
Thank you Lord, for being our True Friend
Lord, you are faithful, your love is constant

Glory be to the Father, and to the Son
And to the Holy Spirit
