At the end of my day
when I kneel down to pray
the world is no longer the world that I've known
And I'm more than just me and all that I see--
more than one person can possibly be…
I'm more than this body--
this flesh, blood, and bone
Time slips away... No more rules to obey
I've made my own bed... I'll reap what I've sown
I remember my name
Inside, I'm the same…
It's only the words in my head that I hone
But words can't convey the things that I say--
the words are much stronger than those etched in stone
And instead of some key to my family tree--
I've seen-- and I've heard--
more than anyone else has ever been shown
I give you my word-- take it from me--
believe in this man... There isn't a fee
It's all been on loan, and given for free
Be more than you can-- more than you own
Be more than you are-- a child of God
although you are grown
God's in His Heaven--
watching from His Throne
He's been waiting for you...
You won't be alone.
