More Alive

More alive than he ever has been
Is Ravi Zacharias today
These are the words from his very own daughter
Shared on facebook today
What a testimony for a man of God
Who was faithful unto the end
One who demonstrated by life in his walk
That he knew the Lord Jesus as Friend

Who took to heart the heart of the matter
If Christ lives we shall live also
Where He leads us we will go
And where He went we will soon follow
In his ministry of the Word
Poetic in some form or other
Ravi had a passion for soul's
It surely shone through him my brother

I've been blessed many a time
After I've heard Ravi preach
God endowed him with a way with words
And an apt ability to teach
With a humbleness of admirable strength
That held him fast like glue
He paved the way for apologetics
To bring the truth on through

There's disappointment in faith's world
As another one bits the dust
But faith's victory far exceeds
By the hand of the Master's touch
Well done though good and faithful servant
You were obedient to the end
Now your final reward is realized
Meeting face to face with your Friend....

Hallelujah what a Saviour!
