Moonlit Silhouettes Poem by Panagiota Romios

Moonlit Silhouettes

Rating: 5.0

~*~*~*~*~*

~~We danced on the silver-mooned balcony.
~~How perfect for our wedding anniversary!
~~The band music enclosed us like a seashell.
~~We were just silhouettes in black,
~~kissing, remembering the sweet call of wedding bells.
~~Our hands may be wrinkled, our hair may be gray.
~~But how wonderful to know, our love is here to stay!

Oh how I love this poem. Remaining in love till old age in this era that marriages crash within the first one year. Beautiful

I, too am moved, by seeing love survive the ravages of aging and time. Thank you so much for your insight.
