Moonlit Ocean Poem by Nissi lunga

Moonlit Ocean

The shore is friendly,
the winds are calm.
Rocks shimmer,
ocean glimmers.
Luna's dome is
occupied with little
room, the ocean
took it all.
Forgotten sand lies
visible.
The ocean is silver,
the docks weathered.
The water is cold,
ice stands bold.
Pearlescent oysters
lay in sand, untouched.
The islands shrink in
ocean's arms.
The stars peek
in disbelief.
The waves whisper
as the crabs slumber,
the salt is less bitter.
The ocean and the
sand join hands,
Bliss is essential.
The moon gently smiles,
as the ocean waves back.
