Moon Weds the Venus Poem by Dr PJ Raj Kamal

Moon Weds the Venus

A wedding regale
In heaven
Upon the mooned vales
And
To the skies, stars rejoice
All in happy smiles
Looking down
And
Their eyes twinkling
With much merriment!
The glitter
Of lunar necklace
Of diamond
Venus hair stone
Its' pendant, so brilliant
For weds
The Lord of nights
The Moon
The Goddess of gardens
And spring
It's May!
The most auspicious
Blooming May!

The whole earth
Rejoices in radiance
Wishes good
And greets the grooms
As across meadows
And moors
As if galaxies in bloom
Vast bays of wild blooms
In seven hues
And
The twilight skies and seas
Azure blue, all in bliss
In this world of dreams,
God's own regime,
All alike
As if in in a sweet, sweet
Dream
Wave at the sweethearts
Of the heavens
Even as
The soft whispering winds
Of an awesome spring
Spread
An ever seductive
Heavenly fragrance!
The sweet, sweet scent
Of primroses, jasmines,
Blue jays and lilies
Everywhere
In our
Neighborhoods!

As if all
The twinkling little stars,
The constellations
Bejeweled,
Have come down
To celebrate
with us
Swarms of shimmering
Fireflies
Display
The symphony of light
Golden light
In great delight
And so spectacular
A show off
Of wedding sparklers
All across the heavens
As at times
Some mesmerizing
Meteorite Showers
Of May
Vibrant May
Illumine the skies!

A night
Of great joy
And jubilation
All over
And upon the mooned vales
Stars rejoice, to the skies
All in happy smiles
And
Their eyes twinkling
With much excitement!
For Weds
The Knight of nights
The Moon
The princess of gardens
And spring
The bright
And beautiful bride
The Venus!
