Moon Voyage Poem by Jürgen Wagner

Moon Voyage

Rating: 5.0

Tonight I soar towards the moon
Behold the vast blue earth right soon
Richly rewarded, I'll surely be
From the star where I live and cease to be

In beauty, it seeks a match profound
Across the cosmos far around
To achieve such wonders, rare and grand
Are needed eons, understand!

A magical garden, both brown and green
The land and sea in a majestic sheen
The richness of species so unique
Forests, mountains, lakes and creek

Yet, forests fade, species take flight
Pol capes melt by day and night
Deserts grow and storms begin
Is there a deeper meaning within?

What is healthy, strong and splendid
Can fall ill, be ruined and ended
'Homo sapiens' is planet's desease
But who is Mother Earth's release?
