'white light on darkened land' indeed the moon is a vision of comfort on a lonely dark night... and thanks to the heavens we are never really left in total darkness....

Your poem creates a certain dreamy and elusive atmosphere that is associated for me with art works by impressionists. It has a quality to seduce a reader with colour and escape at the same time somewhere into darkness(or whiteness depending on a state of mind of a reader) .If to recite it, it also brings an interesting sonic experience reminding of 'sound waves' in 'Claire de Lune' by Claude Debussy.
