Moods And Swings Poem by Indira Renganathan

Moods And Swings

Rating: 5.0

Obsession with something
Compulsively enjoyed
Disorderly...

A monkey's jumping
From tree to tree
Along a long road

Quite a long distance
Covered..trees many
He stops now
Saunters back to the
First spot leisurely
Repeat the same
In cycles too many

Mind can not dig
A pit for heart
Nor can be watching
The fallen heart

Life needs mindful
Carefulness
A vigilant path
One to follow

A purposeless
Repetitive action
From
Mind's insane plane

And
Heart...in its own
Hierarchy

If not cared
It means
'Wasting life
Like that of
A freaky monkey'
