The dark abyss of depression is aptly portrayed in this poignant rendition. A work of an intricate mind.

you have gotten very skillful with your accompanying photo! a very fine poem as well. i like all of it, all of its parts and the whole. to MyPoemList and perhaps a showcase appearance? For reasons unknown Her heart shakes in agony Like a flower trembling on its delicate stem..................yikes! perhaps i could rescue her? probably not. Behind her, what does she hear? Is it the roar of the Tsunami of grief? ? ............................WHAT A FINALE! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! (for the poem) bri ;)

Utter darkness in this portrait of depression cleverly penned Valsa. The sinking emptiness with no life raft to be seen describes this illness so aptly.10+

Depression is truly very damaging to the body n soul. The rain that fills every grieving soul with mirth n causes a temporary relief from all our worries becomes just a reason for more suffering to the depressed soul. Very beautifully delineated. And an amazing graphic to complement the words. A10.

Thank you Nosheen for your analytical comment....! Rain can dampen the spirit of a depressed mind, though it can cool and soak a healthy mind!

Kicking water and playing in the puddles mood swings in dreamland of reality. Lost in silence and solitude she throbs with a dull distracting ache in mind and expression glows with experiencing life with time. She wonders to reach safe harbor. A splendid poem is shared with mind-blowing imagery. Beautiful sharing is done here.10

Mood swings one side to the other. The same showers spell joy at times and fill the heart with misery. Hope the poem provides the push to swing ones heart from a negative to a positive feeling.

A real melancholy poem. Wher monsters of fear are hatched She feels suddenly thrown into the sea of emptiness. Thank you for sharing this poem.

Today when rain has begun pouring down She can only see the sky weeping its tears Clouds smearing wet misery on Earth's face For reasons unknown Her heart shakes in agony Like a flower trembling on its delicate stem After a long time the great poetess, Valsa George, once again with all her charms, once again with all her art of description, once again with magic of words, once again with beauty of thoughts that can touch the hearts.

You put it so well and in a great poem, I was told that this issue gets worse with age. Fortunately, I do not suffer from it. I supposed moving on and not looking back helps. Things always never happen your way, accept that and get the best out of every situation. Keeping busy will enable a person to move on. Thanks Valsa.

Yes, accepting life as it is and thinking that life is not always smooth as we imagine is the only way to prevent us from falling into depression! Thank you Loke for your kind response!
