A Philosophical comparison of a mothers love and devotion....I want to say a BIG thank you for blessing us with this beautiful piece...
This is another great poem Rekha! It is such a well-spoken piece and it exemplifies the deep love between a mother and child. Well-worded my friend!
I would like to thank you for writing such a good poem. Your comparison is fantastic. Nobody is like mother. She is the most reverred entity on the earth. She is greater than even Heaven which lies under her feet. Excellent stuff.
A great comparison and I would prefer Mother for her unlimited love!
A lovely poem Rekha, nothing could ever compare to a mothers love.It is somethig which is inside us which will stay for eternity.
You've done a good job at comparing a monk and a mother. Both are in an attempt to connect with God. The similarity ends there. The monk devoid of the world-ly is no comparison to the mother who can achieve what she has set out for. Thanks for sharing this one.
Fascinating comparison of the office of monks and mothers....only problem is, the monk is doomed to perish, ...the mother is not necessarily.....I am unfamiliar with the religion myself, so cannot argue the verity of this, but as you've depicted it, the two do seem very similar. In both cases, neither connects the child with God, yet she may instruct the child in His Ways from His Word.
Intelligently distinguished two singularity. Its the professional work for a lawyer but as a poet we expect more from a writing as a poem. Thank you. Regards, pranab
Philosophical comparison indeed. While both beging with alphabet M, monk, especaially modern cannot be taken at face value. While the other M will remain the same, her attachment, sincerity and her plaibility to her offspring, yesterday, today, and tomarrow.
Fascinating comparison of the office of monks and mothers....only problem is, the monk is doomed to perish, ...the mother is not necessarily.....I am unfamiliar with the religion myself, so cannot argue the verity of this, but as you've depicted it, the two do seem very similar. On the other hand, the natural/earthly mother does not connect the child with God, but she may instruct the child in His Ways from his Word.
A poem rich in meaning and warm emotion.10.
