Money Poem by Adams King

Money

She's a beautiful woman
A woman with many lovers
Yes she loves none

She had her head up in the sky
For she was sought by all
Both the old and young

Who can resist her body
Men will lay down lives for her
and give up their father's head

Brothers have killed brothers
Sons have slaughtered mothers
All to have a time with her

Lovers have betrayed lovers
Friends have turned bitter enemies
All because of her love

She's a wonderful wonder
A crown upon every man's head
A beauty that beautifies his life

She's a magnet of men
She attracts many lovers
Both friends and foes

I was told she turns the world around
He who have her have everything
He who does not have nothing

She gives you the comfort of life
and all the pleasures you want
She's a treasure to be owned

Yet she's a fool's pride
A beauty with ugly looking heart
A misleading wayward woman

She's better as a maid than a wife
A woman to be held by the hands
and kept far from the heart

She's a mocker of the poor
A visitor to many men's bed
A beautiful unfaithful whore

She's a woman of diverse face
She's a harsh and cruel queen
but a sweet looking slave

She's a poisonous ruthless ruler
but a harmless humbled servant
To be controlled not to control
