Mommy's And Daddy's Wedding Poem by michael Smajda

Mommy's And Daddy's Wedding

When mommy and daddy were wedded,
I was told they were as happy as can be.
But soon their vision of joy turned to sadness
And not long after giving birth to me

When mommy and daddy were wedded,
Faithfulness, between them, was not always so.
When one learned the other loved another,
From then on, their marriage was just a show.

When mommy and daddy were wedded,
They vowed, before all, they'd never part.
Now, they have no trust in each other.
They argued, much, till late after dark.

When mommy and daddy were wedded,
Divorce, of course, was never ever a choice.
Now, that they no longer can live together,
Who I am to be with? I have no voice.
