As an author's first scribe, like a parent's first born....given roots to grow, wings to fly. A beautiful poem. PEACE

A beautiful poem and the meanings are also praiseworthy. The events of life and family and god's grace all are inter connected and made it into a meaningful poem. I liked it.

A very inspiring and uplifting write. Yes mornings are very beautiful indeed. The start of the day when spirits and emotions are high. Enjoyed.

The poem has good solid quatrains, but uses mannerisms like morn and Tis that are a pseudo-poetical style. If you read modern poetry from Burnside or Hughes or Heaney you won`t find this A good poem, but the reader notices it is a first one.

A good beginning. The very first stanza is the best. Others don't quite live up to that. When you write a poem, listen to yourself. You should sound (a) as you do when you talk naturally, not put-on and, yet, at the same time, (b) have a slightly heightened tone in your words. Stanza #1 does exactly that; each of the others has just a bit of a false sound. Listen for it. Keep working on it. Sometimes you have to write it over and over again. That's OK. I'll be looking for more from you.

great poem, nothing like the first few hours of the day when the world is stirring to life and new promises and challenges, a time to take a deep breathand enjoy.

That still in the early, And the middle of morn. Forget for one moment, Life's trials and its scorn. Morning shall soon pass, As I linger and yearn.Praying my God of Thee, For this moment's return. Those two stanzas moved me the most because they are true. Everyonce in a while I get in these happy moods where I am worry-free. A moment of temporary joy that just never seems to hang around long enough.
