Mom Just Talk Poem by Alexis Gallagher

Mom Just Talk

The lord came down and talked to me
before i started to cry
he said you are my mother
and im your little prize

i dream of you and wonder
what it would have been like
the parties
the drama
the little drinking game
and then i started to cry

I read the papers
i heard the tales
but didnt know the truth
so its your chance now what do you say
will you dig up our root
