this fellow had a very good ear, though the work is backward-looking and only minimally progressive. I find it extremely pleasant to read, and if poets hope to hold interest, this one's hope is met, as far as I'm concerned. Too, it's blissfully non-political and outward-looking, despite its posing and morbid subject matter.
