This beautiful poem develops the narryon Mohiniyattam to further heights, from the earlier poems on the subject. Mohiniyattam is a classical dance form, unique to Kerala. Shringara rasam, which is dubbed as the queen of rasas-emotions- is celebrated in Mohiniyattam. Lovely poem. Enjoyed reading... A 100++++

Tony, very kind of you read this poem and give your nice comment. Thank you so much.
Another aspect of classical dance form of Mohiniattam has come under spotlight through this poem followed by the Poet's Notes. The predominance of 'Shringar Ras' in all too evident here to be displayed in all its shades. Interspersed with mythological stories, this is skillfully enacted by the performing artiste through complex body movements based on the Bharat Muni's 'Natya Shastra'. Thanks a lot, Geeta ji, for this meticulous write.
Thank you so much Rajnish ji. 'Sringar Ras' is the mainstay of Mohiniattam and it thrives with this emotion. The enactment is beautiful as it brings forth the essence of this dance style. Your review, as always, is most encouraging for an artiste. Thanks again.
The presentation of Rasas through expressions and mudras are the most prominent feature of Indian classical dance form which makes them so aesthetic and different from other dance forms around the globe. I feel so fortunate to be born in a country where such an art forms exist.
