To be renowned and popular,
be strong and deep-pocketed
I don't long for these things.

I want to be identified and recognized
as a citizen of a nationย like others;
savoring peace, and freedom of life.
I desire to step in my birthplace,
feel its soil between my fingers
and hear free birdsong singing.ย
I long for the silence of my village
to feel its fresh atmosphere.
I desire to witness smilesย anew
on the faces of my beloved race
I long for peace and to return home.

I no longer want to listen to your wordsย
of consolation and can't bear such
a murderous and defective life.
I desire to breathe a sigh of relief
and live a life of peace and harmony.
