Modern Zombies Poem by DM W

Modern Zombies

When parking at Aldi, Asda or Tesco,
They sit in their cars and gaze at their smart phones,
For ages. Mmm... I thought they wanted to shop,
But it seems that these queer people cannot stop
Their addictions to elaborate gadgets.
For slick advertisers they are prime targets.
At some point in time, they will shop. Other times,
They will spend enormous amounts online.
These people are so easy to hypnotize.
It seems they believe all the corporate lies.
