Modern is good - it signifies progress. But there are some old traditions that are worth saving - ideas that have stood the test of time. There are new threads upon the loom, and the young are now the weavers, shaping the world they are going to occupy for years to come. We must wish them the best of luck - it's not going to be easy. But when was it ever easy? I like your thought-stirring poem.
Thanks Laura...I agree with you. I was trying to put myself in the position of a younger person...personally I like a mix of the modern & traditional....hopefully the poem is food for thought!
