Mister Mckenzie Poem by Dorsey Baker

Mister Mckenzie

Mister McKenzie has a very good
Sense of humor
But being in a crowd of people
He feels just as lonely
As if being all by himself
His appearance
Is less attractive now
But he still has a
Beautiful personality!

He has adjusted to his hair turning white
And most of it
Falling out!
He has adjusted his walking speed
And now is
More comfortable
Walking at a slower pace

Got pills
For everything that he is suffering from
On a nightstand
By his bed

Wrinkles have spread
All over his face
His muscles and joints
They complain
All the time!

It's hard to hear the doorbell
When it rings
More doctor visits on the way

Despite all the changes
In the way of having to do things
Mister McKenzie
Has adjusted himself with well!
