Mister Groggy Poem by Dorsey Baker

Mister Groggy

Mister groggy peeps out of his window
Sees the girls jumping rope
Right in front of his house
Decides to join them
In their play then sees some boys
Romping in a very muddy puddle
Jumps in
And gets himself
All muddy just like them

He finds it interesting
That he is learning life
All over again
Again he has learned so many brand new
Things
He is finding energy
He never knew that he had
He is becoming really active again
And it just goes to show
That the age of a man's body
Does not have to
Actually determine
The age of his mind!
