A heart touching poem! The tree would be lucky to shade the pearl like this, that it companied the poetess in her happiness and agonies of solitude. I would like to add this lovely poem in my favorate poem list

Beautiful Jon. It's like a celebration of what has been, not a lament for what is lost. N

This is another melancholy poem of a lost love, Jon, and it is also very well written and expressed, telling it's poignant tale exceptionally well from beginning to end. Carl.
