Another great poem, Lora. The mystery of life! Reminds me of a story my dad told me of two ships passing in the night. Sadly it's a question many ask themselves, I certainly have. What if? Enjoyed reading this, Lora. Good work.

Now my hair is gray, my looks are gone, Through crowded streets I walk alone. Remembering my youth, my thoughts take flight Who am I missing tonight? Heart touching words! In our life's journey, we happen to love someone so profoundly but, so silently, that our love goes unnoticed. Yet at ripe age, our minds perhaps do not regret much, though our thoughts take flight, and remember the person we so profoundly miss, as s/he leave a permanent impression in our minds. Lady, I loved your poem and thank you very much for this excellent piece.
