Hey, Smoky! I relate to your reflection and introspection in this poem. What comes to mind for me is the sheep and goats parable in Matthew 25. There’s a forgetting of ourselves in helping—if not downright joy—and the hope/promise we’ll hear, Well done. May we be led to life and in it experience the peace that confounds understanding. -Glen
