Missing My Parents Poem by Isadora Quagmire

Missing My Parents

My dear parents, my heart still seeks you so,
Their place is empty, the silence weighs low.
I miss their voices, their laughter, their lessons,
In my memory, their songs still echo.

No one can fill their place here on earth,
Their unique love will never fade away.
Time passes by, yet the sorrow persists,
As their image within my mind insists.

But I believe they are with God, the Almighty,
In beautiful heaven, their sweet rest awaits.
Jesus keeps them in His pure light,
Far from this world and all its pain and blight.

They are in peace, without any suffering,
In the divine and holy Presence.
Their soul is free, a song, a joyful psalm,
With the Father, in their sweet, peaceful realm.

This hope appeases my broken heart,
Through the Gospel of Jesus, our Beloved.
One day, I know, through His grace eternal,
We'll reunite, a family faithful.
