Did you enter the contest? No, so they couldn't have been yours. First place was a lady from Ohio, and second place was a guy from Arkansas.
favorite stanza so far: 'Why don't they move around by day so I could have more fun at play? It would be nice if they would talk and let me watch them while they walk'

Let me tell you something. I happen to have a copy of the book, so I HAVE seen the other two poems, and in my opinion, yours is better than the other two. A wonderful poem for children! Plus, the book shows that you also took third honorable mention for another poem in the same category!
