Misbehaving Mouse In Our House... [bri Edwards] Poem by Bri Edwards

Misbehaving Mouse In Our House... [bri Edwards]

Rating: 5.0

A warning goes out now to all outdoor mice:
'Before you enter THIS house, you'd best think twice! '
Last week, after I'd 'taken a shit', I saw a mouse!
It looked at ME, &.........I looked at IT.

I sensed its next move; I grabbed a rug from floor,
AND pressed it against gap at bottom of door.
That mouse was determined, still, to leave that room.
BUT, alas, Old Bri (me) had 'lowered the [rug] boom'.

I rarely kill creatures, but my size 12 foot sealed its fate,
making THAT tiny critter, NOW, a mouse...known as 'late'.

Speak to my wife! Much is sad in life/death. Did you think I'd want to share my ice cream with it? ? Stay up on those toes! ! bri ;)

Readers, If I were to die, some people would most likely refer to me as 'the late Bri Edwards' (or 'the late Brian Edward Whitaker [my real name]) . : )

Please read 'Mice ' in the place of 'Mouses'

Sorry for the Mouse. But it is no fault of yours if it died when you were trying to drive it away.

Mouses cause lot of nuisance if they enter the house. It is irritating if they cut your valuable dress or books. But my hands stop if I am going to kill the little creature out of rage.I wish they never enter or leave on their own.
