I stared into a mirror
And saw a girl looking back at me.
Her eyes were cold,
And her lips seemed set in a permanent sneer.
Her hair was brown and glistened in the light.
Suddenly her lips parted,
Much like mine,
And she raised an eyebrow as if to ask why I was staring.
This impossibly beautiful girl seemed cold and filled with hate.
I struck the glass and shuddered as if shattered,
Appalled to realize that the girl in the reflection, was
Me.
