Mirage Quest Poem by Wangchat konyak

Mirage Quest

Law, what is Law?
A tool to enslaved -the weak.
There's no such thing as valid Law
In a world governed by power and wealth.
It's but a phantom script.

Justice, what is Justice?
A fiction the victim dreams.
There's no true form of Justice
In a world steeped in poverty.
It's but a mirage quest.

Equality, what is Equality?
It favours the strong, not the meek.
When Law and Justice failed to equalize.
How can Equality embody common man?
It's but a bias in disguise.

Liberty, what is Liberty?
It's a mythology we cling to,
There's no real sense of Liberty
In a world defined with border fences.
It's but a fallacy we pursue.

How can Liberty subsist?
When the yoke of taxation and registration
Must be borne to merely breathe.
Nothing favours the one with nothing,
But to the strong it favours everything
