Mirage Of Life Poem by RADHAKRISHNAN KRISHNAN

Mirage Of Life

In ever expanding landscape of our lives,
In those desperate drives and strives,
Running relentlessly after mirage,
Alas! ! can't see through this camouflage.

Out of nowhere exotic blooms loomed large,
Oh, just an aberration, fate's cruel charge,
Some hearts are deadly deserts to get lost,
I saw paradise in mirage that was cast.

In an illusion weaved dexterously by mind,
I got enamoured, infatuated and entwined,
Always met with delusions at life's path,
Churning endlessly in destiny's wrath.

My solitary figure wades through life's maze,
Lost my way in the grey cloud of haze,
I ride illusion wrought merry go round,
Keep falling, crying with pain and wound.
