MIRAGE CALLED FREE PRESS

Fourth Pillar Press
is under seige: ' you kowtow,
or come to distress;
you should ensure, we are wowed;
or else, in jail, you be stowed'

The Executive
wants press, pliable docile,
to keep people captive;
like Kim Jong Un, rotund, vile
leader, who has power plus guile

The Indian press
a fraction is objective
but rest are a mess
some to right lean and survive
some blatantly yellow and thrive

our State in peril
as the four pillars have failed
but the real devil:
fractured mandate makes us wail
as the role of the press has paled
