its a great dedication to picasso. so great, keep writing.. come and read my poems. tanya.
A stunning series of poems inspired by the paintings of Picasso on Minotaur! I speciall y like the third one, though my knowledge of this mythological monster is limited and I haven't seen any of these paintings! His journey to the place of escape is described so dramatically! The weight is crushing my remaining strength. I can no longer look at what's ahead. I twist backwards, staring at the grooves my heavy cart carves. Beautiful description that contain all the burden of a vanquished spirit! The last one where he comes across his inevitable fall (rise?) also is very capturing! Humbled by his misfortune, he has softened under the kind care of the little girl who no more fears his presence as he is not able to intimidate her! Thus when trust is built, all heaviness vanishes and joy comes through! It has been an amazing experience travelling through the rise and fall of this mythological entity! !
