Mindfield Poem by Mr. Handsome

Mindfield

I battle my mind, though today it is winning.
I wrestle each thought, but it's me that they're pinning.
The day is upon me, i knew it'd soon come,
And this opponent I can run from.
The day I break and crumble beyond repair,
Where hope is shattered and replaced with despair.
The shadow of fate hide me from caring eyes,
Effectively blinding me with unspoken lies.
