Mind's A Parachute - Ii Comments

Rating: 5.0

Imprisoned, confined in the harness and lines
Unknown strengths, undiscovered virtues a spread parasol
Afraid of heights that lie within, that fear of jump undone
I meet the cherished realm adrenalin pumped

Nikunj, your poem reminds me of a book on cognitive therapy and the title is 'Feel the fear and do it anyway! ' Gradually one is encouraged to open new horizons slowly at first, until like your poem 'a parachute is like my mind, it works well when it is kept open''. Throughout the poem your imagery is brilliant and the last stanza romps in the kudos you so well deserve. I love it all and whatever you have done to improve it, has worked brilliantly! 10 love Karin

no one can fully write about human mind, for it keeps wandering and never lets us complete... this is a beautiful poem.. can be added to one of your best list

Nice! You touch on certain moments and feelings that we all can relate to. I had to look up in the dictionary what 'firmament' means. It meant expanse of the sky, the heavens. Your poem taught me a new word today! :) DC

A very good write at least on two accounts. First, the poem relates to human potential which is virtually unlimited. But more interestingly the poem reveals the floating joy of a liberated mind which is awesome.
