To clear, dearly we have to pay
Varied indeed the monsters play

The entire poem is very well done and is a poetic truth of the corruption of life and unfairity that the mind tends to ignore. Many great minds are ignored for their expressions on the pollutions we have made on this earth, and you are one that should never be ignored, for this poem is, if not the truth, a message of warning and obvious coming of the pollution that is to come to our minds. Nicely done Subbaraman!

So very true Subbaraman and all fed on greed by Goverments and individuals. Commercialism and unthinking waste of precious resources creats more frustation and mind pollution for all of us. Very well thought out piece, Thank you for sharing it. Peace and love, David

If only man could silence all mind pollution...then all other sources of worldly pollution and mankind's path of self destruction would subside as well...beautifully written Subbaraman...

The worst thing among the many kind of pollutions is the mind pollution, which is highlighted in this nice poem.

The theme of this beautiful poem hints at the value of silence. You have a nice rhyme scheme to accompany your thoughts when you air them with vigour.

We should recycle our minds daily. There is a lot of garbage out there! Thanks for the read and the thoughts it stirred.

True Vidhyakar! In those days me as a student and as a teacher used to have a Moral Instruction Class every day and we used to ensure clearing the moral pollution. In the latter days, teachers used to appropriate this class for completing their unfinished portions! Today I believe in the school time table, there is no such allotment at all! We parents at home should do or at least encourage the organizations such as Chinmaya Balvikas, Sri Sathya Sai Balvikas, Vivekanand Yuvakendhra etc who are trying to do this noble job.

Other pollution is easy to talk and clean.Mind pollution is one thing very few people try to clean. We take bath everyday to clean our body what about our mind? Why dont people try to clean.Mind also stinks as Body stinks but only if we know what is that stink. It has to be taught in school.Nowadays we are teaching environment pollution in schoold compulsorily but till now there is no moral calss compulsory in school. That is what we want it to be.And we have reaped what we have sowed. Then why compalin.Let us make a begining with this poem to clease the mind with any sort of measures may be mediatation, satasang or moral classses......Thanks for the good poem

But yet we still do it, when we know it hurts the very world we depend on for life, olny when it's way to late and we must count the cost in life lost..! Andrew 10

Of course the web of information and technology has drawn new lines of civilization more averse to the objectives of peace, nature and environment. Nice piece.
