This poem is so classical in its traditional esthetic of the evocation of the seasons. The first line especially blows me away with its melodic onomatopoeia. Just a lovely embodiment of the sense and sentiment of the words and their meaning. Unfortunately the near perfection of the opening proves a hard act to follow for ensuing lines, which just miss their marks with slight stuttering frailty. I wish I had a command of Chinese so I could compare the flow and particularities between the two. Overall, a stunning piece (in English, at least) .
