So true, how the midnight hour is so full of fear due to childhood stories. Reminds me of my poem, 'Phobia'. A wonderful write, well penned.

Vey effective! The spine chills, looking somwhat frightened, these feelings we have when sleep evades us. The haunting thoughts that break our sleep. Creeping noises that disturbs our souls. Our reliance on medicinal pills. Well done! 10

Ha ha. I'm sorry for your sleepless nights, just having one right now actually :) My cat would not stop 'meowing' so I had to put her in the laundry room. Now I can't sleep! Excellent poetry though Vijay! .... Marina Gasbey...

Yes! Some noises do irritate and give sleepless nights. Viz Calendars scratching the walls, under the fan. I would getup, pull it and throw it. But still the pages would flip and make some noise.I would put some weight and proceed to sleep, only to find a sleepless night. Nice Poem.
