Middle Sea Comments

Egad. Meetings. Soul-destroying meetings. A bit of a baffling poem, but I've oft been baffled by the insistence of incompent blowhards for yet another meeting. A sea-change in your consciousness. 'These are the pearls that were his eyes.'

Poems about nature intrigue me. I find this one also very interesting and worth exploring its meanings. The human nature is hardest to fathom or, at least, to accept at times.

The language is superb Tailor and the whole piece a poetic commentary on working and dreaming; on imagination and memory and the personal foibles that arise from the surreal mix of both. I really like this one too Tailor because it opens up so many possibilities. It has its focus, but there is so much swirling around it allusively that it drew me in so deeply I was suddenly 'adrift among prattle oceans', though lacking a bit in the 'super ego purity' department! (an 'in between bit for effect') . Brilliant exit to boot. As always - very special work! jim
