Good short poems are like thoughts and colors to me. Both never have an end.. these short poems are also very good
Good ones indeed! Loved (iv) . Great depth there. (10)
You know before I saw your comment that my poem inspired you, I felt our common presence in these short poems, especially i and v, but it's whole ensemble that links us. But iv - I should have written that one on growing old! ! You're much too young to pen such thoughts. But it's a sign of your poetic sensitivity. I really like the closing of v with the ever shining stars smiling over the same circumstances that cause us to pause and feel melancholy. And 1 is so delicate I had to read it in a whisper.
Thank you so much Daniel for inspiring me with your great writings. I wanted to pass them off as Taoist poems but I was not sure if they did justice to the form n structure n the philosophy of Taoism. Therefore I just used the heading of short poems. I'm glad you liked them n felt your presence in them. I'm delighted. But I must say your Taoist poems are par excellence. I'm just a beginner.
Outstanding....Nosheen..No words to describe the depth and philosophy both, in your poem. All are equally good but my pick from the above will be: : (iv) The petals fall one by one The ground is hungry for more I close my eyes The mirror reflects my face too clear Oh, I'm growing old.
You have always been a talented writer, but you are taking leaps and bounds. Marvelous poem!
Shining and smiling! To respect the muse of nature. Thanks for sharing.
