Born in 1475!
In Flourence (Italy) ;
MICHELANGELO BUONARROTI! ! ! !
The son of a poor gentleman called,
LUDOVICO BUONARROTI.

MICHELANGELO was only 13 years old when,
He started studying in the workshop of a Florentine Artist;
Afterwards,
He went to the school of sculpture!
Set up by Lorenzo De' Medici.

To crown his Talents! ! !
Michelangelo was also a Poet and An Architect;
He was the greatest of all Italian Sculptors.

With his CREATIVITY,
He painted the Fresco in 'The Sistine Chapel' (VATICAN) ;
Which took him four and half years.

He laid in his back on scaffolding!
Erected a hundred feet above the floor;
And completed a Great Painting of 10,000 Sqaure Feet.
