POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
.
Author's Note. When my computer died, I was without means to get on PoemHunters. I was bored so I decided to invent a new poem structure. You take a famous poem's title and make it the opening to your own poem. Then you write a line of your own and try to connect it to Famous Title 1 on the first line and Famous Title 2 on the third line that concludes your poem. Now I know there's a Grinch out there that will call this Plagiarism but since I mentioned the famous titles, phooey on Mr. Wet Blanket. I had to do something or go crazy...... or crazier.Love being back, you all.

Great idea Susan. Short and crispy. Most effective.

A good collage work from a talented poet and revival of famous poets like Mary Elizabeth Frye:

A great exercise to keep an empty mind busy by filling in possibilities between the lines and inspiring the readers to follow suit. Thanks for sharing an innovative theme.
