rose flower or rose wine, you do sparkle, Pam! Think people should not be inhibited about writing humorous verse. It's usually more important than they think.

Life in general is serious with vexing problems.... Some lighthearted moments are badly needed in this stressful life..... I agree with you fully! Humour has a great place and it should be used now and then to create a smile on our face! Who on't enjoy a real joke!

Poetry comes in all shapes and sizes. Some of the best poets can be very funny. TS Eliot and his Cats for instance. To me something that makes you smile is never trivial. What better medicine is there? Your Coffin chaser poem is a good example. Very funny and good poetry too.
